Last week Chris and Raquel drove from the Dallas area to have their Austin engagement session.  I was particularly excited because I used to work with Raquel’s mom about a hundred years ago.  I remember seeing pictures of Raquel and her brother….in a frame or printed photo.  We had cell phones, but the old school kind.  They were the size of a small 2×4 and were available to make calls from anywhere between 2 and 24 dollars a minute.  You get the picture.   Any who, when Raquel’s mom let me know the good news, I was excited.  They made a quick weekend trip to make the drive down 35 to get some engagement photos done and then on to San Antonio to visit some family.  It was so good as we took a leisurely hike down some of Austin’s hill country where we snapped several of the first several photos.  Once the sun started to set, we admired the amazing cotton candy sunset.  We could not have dialed up a more perfect sunset, it was pretty amazing.  I wish these two a “happily ever after”.  To see all of the engagement photos, click HERE.
