Michael and Michelle chose to have their wedding at The Creek Haus. The chose this fun wedding venue because it allowed them to stay the whole weekend on site with their crew. While I was not around the night before, I can only assume it was a party. Michael and Michelle had just one bridesmaid and groomsmen, and it was perfect. I could tell immediately how closely knit they all were. Michelle’s sister-in-law wore a stunning copper simmer dress and her two sweet little nuggets wore a simple but adorable lace gown along with a white flower crown. The flower puppy, Reba, had a bedazzled collar and leash with a lace tutu. She really stole the show. I was so excited and totally in love with the copper accents in lieu of a more traditional gold or silver. Even the wedding rings were copper. Amazing. The navy blue accents were the perfect pop of color for the copper. It was all very classy and elegant with a nod to the rustic charm. My personal favorite moment of the wedding ceremony was when these two went to tie their ever so “easy” yet “strong” knot. Long story short, the ropes slipped right through each other without even a hesitation, the ropes separated. Everyone erupted into belly laughter, myself included. It was particularly amusing that the official, in his prewritten script, went on to make reference to the strong and easy to tie knot. With this and everything, Michael and Michelle took everything in stride and with a smile on their face. Their happiness was contagious and I’m sure it will last a lifetime. I was so honored to be a part of such a special day. To see all of their wedding photos, click HERE.
