Ian and Courtney had their wedding at Green Pastures in Austin, TX. You may have been to their restaurant Matties, or maybe not. This wedding location is a green oasis in the middle of downtown Austin. I’ve probably driven past it 100 times and never knew it was there. It is truly magical. Courtney wanted to have a somewhat vintage flair to her own look as well as the decor and vibe. They got married on a Sunday afternoon, it was a great change of pace. Her classic red lip was really pretty perfect. The bridesmaid dresses were mixed jewel tones and the ladies had a purple floral bouquet. Courtney had a beautifully contrasting red bouquet to match her perfect red lip. The men wore a classic grey suit and converse shoes. Nothing was overdone, it was all timeless and elegant. After lunch the three of us rode off into the Austin sunset in a cool vintage 1959 Jaguar to do a quick photo against the Austin city line.
Just a fun behind the scenes photo. I loved the look of everyone’s face when I announced we were doing formal photos in the back alley. I’m so happy everyone trusted me, these gals sparkled against the fall colors on the ground.
